Spoken Binary (and Hexadecimal)

or How to verbalize numbers in binary and hexadecimal.

Speaking numbers in most languages is based on powers of ten. This page defines how to speak numbers based on powers of two: spoken binary. As hexadecimal is base 24, spoken binary also serves as a spoken hexidecimal.

Spoken binary uses single sounds to represent various powers of two, simimlar to how spoken decimal uses the words "ten", "hundred", and "thousand".
